This chapter addresses OTD after MAiD, including the ethical and practical considerations in providing patient-centred care and optimizing OTD. In this lesson participants will: 1. Understand the positive impact organ and tissue donation after MAiD can provide both the donor and the transplant recipient. 2. Recognize the importance of patient-centered care when planning organ donation for the MAiD patient. 3. Discuss the requirement for collaboration and communication between the patient, their MAiD provider, the donation team and transplant team for successful organ and tissue donation after a MAiD procedure.
